Alvin Varughese

Alvin Varughese, MSc, ThM has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Alvin currently works at Texas Roadhouse as the Director - Principal Enterprise Architect and previously held the role of Principal Enterprise Architect. Prior to that, they worked at Humana in various roles, including Associate Director - Cloud Automation Engineering & Advancement, Cloud Automation Leader & Lead Architect, Lead Cloud Architect - AWS/GCP, and Senior Cloud Architect - AWS. Before Humana, they were a Senior Systems Architect - Manufacturing DevSecOps at GE Appliances and a Lead Factory Information Systems Analyst. Alvin also worked as a Level 2 Systems Engineer at North American Stainless and as a Systems and Network Engineer while being self-employed. Alvin started their career as a Staff Accountant at Grace Community Church and later worked as a Project Engineer at Altech Alcom Matomo and a Senior Project Engineer at Ram-tec Systems. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated expertise in cloud architecture, enterprise architecture, automation engineering, and systems engineering.

Alvin Varughese holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of the Witwatersrand, attained in 2006. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in the same field from the same institution in 2001. In 2013, Alvin earned a Master of Theology (ThM) degree with a specialization in Systematic Theology from The Master's College and Seminary. Alvin had previously completed a Master of Divinity (MDiv) degree from the same institution in 2010. In addition to their academic degrees, Alvin Varughese also has various certifications in the field of cloud computing and software development, including certifications from Microsoft and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
