Vice President Facilities Process Design at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children

Don Katz began their work experience in 1988 as the Director of the Orthotics Department at the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children. Don later became the Vice President of Facilities & Process Design, where they provided administrative support for various departments and introduced Lean/Six Sigma processes. In 2003, they also held the position of President at the American Academy of Orthotists and Prosthetists for a year.

Don Katz completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Orthotics and Prosthetics at UT Southwestern Medical Center in 1985. Prior to that, they pursued studies at The University of Texas at Austin from 1980 to 1983 in the College of Natural Sciences. Later on, in 2010-2011, they obtained a Master of Science degree in Health Care Administration from The University of Texas at Arlington.
