Emem Washington, JD, LL.M, is a distinguished legal professional with extensive experience in academia and advocacy. As the founder of Lead•Speak•Impact (Emem Washington, LLC) since August 2020, Emem Washington has dedicated efforts to impactful initiatives in the legal realm. Since May 2008, Emem Washington has served as an adjunct professor of law at Texas Southern University, sharing expertise with students. Previous roles include serving as an advocacy fellow for the National Association of Urban Debate Leagues, where guidance was provided on non-profit governance and the development of partnerships within the legal community. With a solid educational background, including a Doctor of Law earned Magna Cum Laude and an LL.M. in Intellectual Property and Information Law, Emem Washington combines legal knowledge with a commitment to enhancing access to debate for under-represented students and ensuring compliance in IT security.
