Ryan McGinty

Ryan McGinty has extensive experience in sports information, currently serving as the Sports Information Director at Texas Southern University since June 2019. In this role, Ryan manages publicity for a 16-sport NCAA Division I institution, overseeing statistics, gameday operations, and media relations. Previously, Ryan held the position of Assistant Commissioner for Media Relations at the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference from June 2016 to June 2019, and prior to that, served as the Director of Sports Information at Prairie View A&M University and Grambling State University. Ryan began his career in sports information as an Assistant SID at Prairie View A&M University. Ryan holds both a Master’s and a Bachelor’s degree in Counseling and Communications from Prairie View A&M University.
