Russell Hromadka has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Russell started their career in 2007 as an Officer and Pilot in Training with the US Marine Corps, where they completed basic Marine Officer training and Naval Flight School. Russell served as a Marine Naval Aviator and Instructor Pilot, leading 400+ missions in combat while deployed to Afghanistan. Additionally, they served as the Assistant Director of Operations, overseeing the effective utilization of aircraft and personnel.

In 2015, Hromadka joined the US Marine Corps Forces Special Operations Command (MARSOC) as the Director of Operations - Aviation Support and Integration. In this role, they coordinated aviation support for the Marine Corps Special Forces community and was responsible for planning, training, and execution of aviation employment.

After leaving the military in 2017, Hromadka worked as a Fellow at The Honor Foundation, a non-profit organization that provides transition assistance to Special Operations Forces.

In the same year, they joined Clutter, a start-up disrupting the self-storage industry, as an Operations/Field Manager in Southern California. Russell used technology to provide a delightful experience to customers by offering pick-up, storage, and return delivery services.

Since 2018, Hromadka has been working at TSS (Total Sand Solution) in various roles. Russell started as the US Logistics Manager, overseeing procurement, lane management, transloading, last mile, and well site solutions for proppant. Russell then served as the Vice President of Operations and is currently the Chief Operating Officer.

Russell Hromadka completed their secondary education at Langham Creek High School, where they did not receive a degree or specialize in a particular field of study. In 2003, they enrolled at the United States Naval Academy, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Applied Mathematics. Russell successfully completed their studies at the academy in 2007.
