Cayce Williams

Cayce Williams currently serves as a Lecturer in the School of Criminal Justice and Criminology at Texas State University, focusing on the course Active Shooter Response - Experiential Learning since January 2023. In addition, Cayce holds the position of Director of Curriculum at the ALERRT Center at Texas State University, where leadership is provided to a team responsible for creating training materials. Previous experience includes a distinguished career as a Police Sergeant with the Coppell Police Department from February 1999 to August 2020, where Cayce managed various training initiatives and operations. Additionally, an adjunct instructor role at ALERRT was held from 2015 to 2020. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Administrative Leadership from the University of Oklahoma and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Arts and Sciences from the University of North Texas.
