Alana Peck

Alana Peck, Ph.D, is a seasoned academic and nonprofit professional with extensive experience in teaching and program leadership. Currently serving as a Faculty Lecturer and Adjunct Professor at Xavier University of Louisiana since August 2020, Alana has held various roles, including Senior Program Associate for Nonprofit Leadership and Effectiveness at the Greater New Orleans Foundation from January 2024 to June 2025, and Senior Associate at Kantar from July 2022 to July 2023. Previous academic appointments include Adjunct Professor at Upper Iowa University and High School Program Director at Breakthrough Collaborative. Alana holds a Ph.D in Sociology from Louisiana State University, where studies were completed from August 2018 to July 2022, as well as a Master's degree and Bachelor's degree, also in Sociology, from Louisiana State University and Xavier University of Louisiana, respectively.
