Daniel Owen

Daniel Owen is a seasoned professional in the information security and technology field, currently serving as the Chief Information Security Officer at Texas State University since June 2007. With a strong foundation in systems architecture, Daniel has demonstrated expertise in virtualization, enterprise storage systems, and core system services, successfully designing and deploying solutions for large user populations ranging from 50,000 to 100,000 users. Prior experience includes roles at Sam Houston State University as a Programmer Analyst and Computer Systems Specialist. Daniel holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Sam Houston State University, obtained between 1999 and 2003.
