Denae Dyck

Denae Dyck, PhD, currently serves as an Assistant Professor of English at Texas State University, where responsibilities include designing and teaching various university courses and supervising teaching assistants. Previous experience includes roles as Project Manager and Research Assistant at Crafting Communities, contributing to an award-winning open education resource and coordinating a series of global virtual events. Denae also worked as a Sessional Instructor at the University of Victoria, teaching multiple undergraduate courses and mentoring teaching assistants. Additional experience includes presenting on mental wellness and creating educational materials at the Stigma Free Society, along with research consulting and assisting with grant applications related to digital humanities projects. Denae holds a PhD in English Language and Literature from the University of Victoria, alongside a Master's from Dalhousie University and a Bachelor's from Ambrose University.
