Felix Quayson serves as a Faculty member in the Department of Organization Workforce and Leadership Studies at Texas State University and is the Program Coordinator for the Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences degree. Current roles include Secretary and Treasurer for the Career and Technical Education Special Interest Group at the American Educational Research Association and Research Scholar for multiple National Science Foundation grants focused on Black male STEM teachers and students. Felix is also the Founder of The Human Occupation Project, aimed at improving workforce education and career readiness, and Co-Founder of New Mind Media LLC, an educational consulting firm. Additionally, roles include Founding Editor-in-Chief of The Interdisciplinary Journal of Advances in Research in Education and Chief Executive Officer of Support for African Youth Education Inc. Felix holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Educational Studies from The Ohio State University, along with multiple graduate degrees and certifications in education and leadership.
