Semih Aslan

Semih Aslan is an academic and engineer with extensive experience in higher education and industry. Currently serving as an Associate Professor at Texas State University since August 2011, Aslan previously held the position of Assistant Professor at the same institution. Prior to this, Aslan worked as a Post-Doctoral Research Associate at the Illinois Institute of Technology and as a Senior FPGA Design Engineer at Motorola Solutions. Aslan’s academic career began at ITT Technical Institute, where roles included Instructor and Associate Dean from 2000 to 2010. Educationally, Aslan holds a PhD and an MSEE from the Illinois Institute of Technology, as well as a BSEE from Istanbul Technical University.
