Rebeca Aizpuru Huddle

Rebeca Aizpuru Huddle currently serves as a Justice on the Supreme Court of Texas, a position held since October 2020. Prior to this role, Rebeca Aizpuru Huddle was a Partner and Partner-in-charge of the Houston office at Baker Botts from June 2017 to October 2020. Rebeca Aizpuru Huddle also served as a Justice on the Court of Appeals for the First District of Texas from August 2011 to June 2017, where analysis and adjudication of over 1,000 appeals and original proceedings were conducted, resulting in the authorship of over 400 reasoned majority opinions. Earlier in the career, Rebeca Aizpuru Huddle was a Partner in the Trial Department at Baker Botts LLP from September 1999 to July 2011, representing a range of clients in various legal matters. Rebeca Aizpuru Huddle earned a J.D., with honors, from The University of Texas School of Law and holds a B.A. in Political Science from Stanford University.
