Debabrata Mukherjee

Debabrata Mukherjee is a prominent cardiologist currently serving as the Chairman of the Department of Medicine at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center El Paso and as Chief of Cardiovascular Medicine at Texas Tech University, roles held since May 2010. Mukherjee has been an Associate Editor for the American College of Cardiology since January 2010. Previously, Mukherjee was the Gill Foundation Professor of Cardiology at the University of Kentucky from October 2005 to April 2010, and prior to that, served as the Director of Peripheral Vascular Interventions at the University of Michigan from July 2001 to September 2005. Mukherjee's early training included a fellowship in Interventional Cardiology and Cardiovascular Medicine at Cleveland Clinic between July 1996 and June 2001.
