Rafael Cacao

Rafael Cacao is an accomplished academic and entrepreneur with a focus on engineering and healthcare optimization. Currently serving as an Instructor of Record at Texas Tech University, Rafael teaches Engineering Economic Analysis and is developing courses in Applied Machine Learning and Quantum Information and Computation. As a Postdoctoral Researcher, efforts were concentrated on healthcare process optimization and applying machine learning to enhance patient outcomes. Rafael founded AIKO Healthcare Solutions where leadership in product development centers on AI-driven solutions for healthcare. With a robust background in teaching and research, demonstrated through effective instruction of over 500 students and the achievement of high evaluations, Rafael holds a Doctorate in Industrial Engineering from Texas Tech University and has prior experience as a Research Analyst at Kadima Asset Management.
