Robert Giovannetti

Robert Giovannetti is an experienced professional in external operations and strategic communication, currently serving as Senior Associate Athletic Director at Texas Tech University since August 2011. Giovannetti also holds the position of Managing Director for Public Broadcasting and Associate Vice Chancellor for Communications and Marketing within the Texas Tech University System. Prior to this, a significant tenure with Learfield IMG College included serving as a television play-by-play announcer for Texas Tech athletics from February 2008 to February 2021. Additional roles include Publisher at Red Raider Sports Magazine and ownership of TRI Productions. Previous experience encompasses Sports Director at Fox 34 and contributions to KJTV FOX34 with the Tech Talk show. Giovannetti's educational background includes a Master of Arts in Mass Communication/Media Studies and a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication from Texas Tech University.
