BARIŞ ÇETİN

Barış Çetin has extensive experience in fabric sourcing and management. BARIŞ started their career as a Fabric Sourcing Specialist at Dynamo Denim Kumas in 2004, where they sourced greige fabrics and negotiated prices. BARIŞ then worked at Freshtex as a Fabric Sourcing Responsible, sourcing fabrics and managing orders. At Next Sourcing VM Ltd, they were a Fabric Sourcing Specialist responsible for placing fabric and lining orders and ensuring timely delivery.

Çetin continued their career at Ünlü Tekstil & Bandolera, where they sourced fabrics for customer collections and visited domestic and international fabric fairs. BARIŞ then worked at Ipekyol-Ayaydin/Miroglio Group as a Senior Fabric Sourcing Merchandiser, sourcing fabrics for three brands and attending fabric fairs.

BARIŞ joined APS TEKSTİL VE TİC. A.Ş as a Fabric Sourcing Executive, sourcing suitable fabrics for customer collections and visiting fabric fairs. Çetin then joined DeFacto as a Fabric Sourcing Manager, leading the fabric sourcing team and managing domestic and overseas fabric sourcing for the company.

BARIŞ continued their career at KOTON MAGAZACILIK as a Design Lab Fabric R&D Manager, overseeing fabric development and managing the team. Most recently, Çetin joined EGR FABRICS as a Sales Manager, responsible for sales and managing relationships with clients. Currently, they are working as a Supply Manager and Product Developer at Textil Santanderina, S.A, where they are involved in supply management and product development.

Bariş Çetin started their education journey in 1993 at Bartın Lisesi, a high school where they studied Fen Matematik until 1996. Following that, they attended Ege University from 1996 to 2001, majoring in Textile Engineering. BARIŞ achieved a grade point average of 3.75 out of 5 during their time at Ege University.
