Sam Pettifer is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in sustainability and corporate responsibility within the fashion industry. Currently, Sam serves as the Impact Tools Lead and Senior Manager for Climate and Nature Impact Tools at Textile Exchange since November 2022, while also holding a faculty position at the European Institute of Innovation for Sustainability since September 2023. Additionally, Sam acts as a Strategic Advisor for Raiz Vertical Farms. Previous experience includes a significant tenure at Burberry from May 2014 to November 2022, where Sam advanced through various roles culminating in Senior Manager - Global ESG Strategy and Reporting Lead. Sam’s expertise extends to mentorship in start-up environments, having worked with Dream Assembly, and contributing to Oxfam's monitoring and evaluation initiatives. Educational qualifications include a Postgraduate degree in Organisational Sustainability from the University of Cambridge and a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Management from the University of Bristol.
