Kriya Shortt began their work experience in 2007 as an Area Sales Manager at Cessna Aircraft Company. Kriya then went on to become a Regional Vice President, Sales, followed by the VP of Sales for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. In 2014, they joined Textron Aviation as the SVP of Sales and Marketing. Over the years, they held various roles at Textron Aviation, including SVP of Global Customer Support and SVP of Parts & Programs. In 2023, Kriya Shortt became the President and CEO of Textron eAviation, leading the development and expansion of the company's sustainable aircraft offerings for urban air mobility and other purposes.
Kriya Shortt earned their Bachelor of Arts degree in French from the College of the Ozarks in 1995. Kriya later pursued their Master of Business Administration degree from Webster University, graduating in 2002. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in the Senior Executive Leadership Program from Duke University and the Textron Executive Leadership Program from Thunderbird School of Global Management.
