Vid Plevnik

Vid Plevnik is the Chief Engineer and Engineering Specialist at Textron eAviation, bringing extensive expertise in aircraft design and airworthiness. With a Master of Engineering in Aerospace from the University of Stuttgart, they previously served as Chief Engineer and Head of Airworthiness at Pipistrel Vertical Solutions and led the Design Department at Pipistrel Aircraft. Vid has contributed to notable projects, including the Taurus G4, various European certification efforts, and multiple Horizon 2020 initiatives. Their research experience includes a decade at the DLR Institute of Structures and Design, backed by a grant from Rolls Royce Deutschland.
