Alfredo S. Carbajal is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in mechanical and electro-mechanical systems. Currently serving as a New Product Development Engineer at Textron GSE since May 2016, Alfredo is responsible for the design, prototyping, and testing of a new electro-mechanical steering system for the Cargo-Baggage tractor product line, while also supporting multi-disciplinary tasks across mechanical, electrical, and software systems. Previous roles at Textron GSE include Mechanical Engineer II, focusing on mechanical design and integration, and Mechanical Engineer I, concentrating on the maintenance of ground support equipment. Alfredo began their career as a Mechanical Engineer Intern at Tug Technologies, where skills in engineering documentation were developed. Prior experience includes work as a Technician at C.H. Martin Co., specializing in the fabrication and maintenance of orthoses and prostheses. Alfredo holds degrees from Kennesaw State University and Georgia Highlands College.
