Teylers Museum
Klazina Botke is a University Lecturer in Art History at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam since October 2022, where also serves as Programme Director for the MA Kunst, Markt en Connaisseurschap. In addition, Klazina holds the position of Guest Curator at Teylers Museum. Prior experience includes working as a Getty Paper Project Fellow at Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen from October 2019 to September 2022 and serving in various academic roles at institutions such as Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, University of Groningen, and Klassieke Academie voor Beeldende Kunst Groningen. Klazina completed a PhD in Art History at the University of Groningen and has participated in several prestigious educational programs, including an Erasmus program at Università Ca' Foscari Venezia and a PhD Summerschool at The Royal Netherlands Institute in Rome.

Teylers Museum

Teylers Museum, is the Netherlands' first and oldest museum. Unique is the historical presentation of its collections, largely unchanged since the late 18th century. Teylers Museum aims at enabling the contemporary interest in art and knowledge from his unique legacy of the Enlightenment. This legacy includes not only exceptional collections, an authentic listed building and a rich history, but also a way of thinking that is characterized by an urge for innovation and discovery and sharing knowledge to improve the world.
