Stan Kaatee

Stan Kaatee is a seasoned professional in public administration with extensive experience in various high-level governmental roles. Currently serving as the Director-General of Work and Pensions at the Ministerie van Sociale Zaken en Werkgelegenheid since October 2020, Stan is responsible for developing policies related to workforce issues in the Netherlands. Previously, Stan held the position of Managing Director of Economic Affairs for the Gemeente Amsterdam, where responsibilities included strategic economic development and business acquisition. Stan's career also includes significant advisory roles at the Ministerie van Algemene Zaken, supporting prime ministers, and contributions as a city council member in Haarlem. Educational qualifications include a degree in Public Administration from Leiden University and participation in various leadership and governance training programs.
