Charles Hollingworth GAICD has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Charles began their career in 2008 as an Environmental Advisor/Safety Supervisor at Kellogg Brown and Root Pty Ltd. From 2009 to 2011, they served as an Environment Health and Safety Manager at Cargill Beef Australia, where they were responsible for environmental and OHS management across multiple locations.
In 2012, Hollingworth joined Downer Infrastructure Services as a Senior Zero Harm Advisor - Environment, where they worked on a fixed-term contract handling compliance and approvals for a significant infrastructure project in Western Australia.
Since 2011, Hollingworth has been with Teys Australia, taking on various roles. Charles started as a Group Manager Environment and then progressed to Group Manager Corporate Affairs and Environment, where they were responsible for government dialogue, representation, and lobbying. In this role, they also handled media issues and consolidated three positions into a single role. Charles later became the General Manager Asset Management and then the General Manager Commercial Development. Finally, in July 2021, they were appointed as the Chief Operating Officer - Non Primary Processing at Teys Australia.
Throughout their career, Hollingworth has showcased strong leadership skills and has achieved significant milestones, such as implementing environmental strategies, achieving business savings, and ensuring best-in-class safety performance.
Charles Hollingworth GAICD has a diverse education history. In 2014, they obtained a Diploma in Positive Psychology from Emotional Intelligence Worldwide. Prior to that, from 2007 to 2008, they pursued a Graduate Certificate in OHS Management at UNSW. Charles holds a Bachelor's Degree in Bachelor of Natural Resources (Hons) from the University of New England, which they completed between 2003 and 2006.
