Giovanna di Turi

Giovanna Di Turi has over 15 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and clinical research industry. Giovanna has held various management positions in project and clinical operations, focusing on the execution and oversight of clinical studies.

Their most recent role was as an Associate Director of Project Management at TFS HealthScience, where they were responsible for ensuring project deliverables and client satisfaction in global clinical trials. Prior to that, they worked as a Clinical Operations Senior Manager at Dompé, leading the operational strategy and execution of clinical studies.

Before joining Dompé, Giovanna was a Clinical Operations Manager at JSB Solutions, where they managed clinical operations for Dompè Farmaceutici. Giovanna also gained experience in international clinical project management as a Clinical Research Development Manager at TFS - Clinical Contract Research Organization.

Earlier in their career, Giovanna worked as a Supervisor of Clinical Project Management at McCann Healthcare - Complete Medical Group, overseeing the coordination and management of clinical research projects in various therapeutic areas. Giovanna also worked as a Medical Affairs Manager at Janssen CILAG, where they provided scientific support for clinical studies and managed budgets.

Giovanna started their career in the medical field as a Medical Affairs Associate at Abbott Vascular Knoll-Ravizza, focusing on therapy evaluation projects and clinical study management. Giovanna also gained experience as an intern at the European Institute of Oncology and completed a stage at OPIS On Pharmaceutical Industry Service, where they gained experience in clinical trial management and data management.

Giovanna holds a degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Studies of Bari in Italy.

Giovanna Di Turi obtained a Master II Livello degree in Pre-Clininic and Clinic Research and Development of Drugs from the University of Studies of Milano-Bicocca in Italy. Prior to that, they earned a degree in Biologic Sciences with a specialization in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Studies of Bari. Giovanna completed their high school education at the Scientific High School "Enrico Fermi" in Bari, Italy, where they received a diploma.
