Aaron Schlichting

Aaron Schlichting has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Aaron started their career as a Studio Imaging Specialist at Nordstrom.com, where they developed a file management system to improve image organization and reduce the chance of missing images. Aaron then progressed to become a Studio Imaging Lead at Nordstrom.com, where they implemented a cost-effective workflow and script to streamline the editing process. Aaron also served as a Studio Imaging Assistant Manager, Studio Imaging Manager, and Studio Technical Designer at Nordstrom.com, focusing on training, reducing image processing time, and improving digital asset management. Aaron later transitioned to a Project Manager role at Nordstrom.com, where they successfully launched an image asset management tool for the entire company. Aaron then joined Amazon as a Digital Imaging Specialist before moving on to work as a Motion Graphic Designer and Motion Designer and Technical Program Specialist at Run Studios, where they created animations and motion graphics for videos. Currently, they are working as an Art Director at Ten Gun Design. Throughout their career, Aaron has consistently demonstrated their skills in UI/UX design, motion design, image retouching, and project management.

Aaron Schlichting obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Illustration and Graphic Design from The Art Institutes between the years 1999 and 2001. In addition, they obtained a certification in Animation Bootcamp from the School of Motion in January 2019 and a Scrum Master certification from Scrum Alliance in November 2015.
