Cory Smith

Cory Smith, PMP, currently serves as the Program Management Office Manager at TGI Direct, Inc., leading a team of 7 Project Managers and 5 Project Coordinators since January 2015. Responsibilities include establishing cross-training plans, fostering a team-focused culture, conducting annual reviews, and utilizing the EOS model for business strategy while determining goals for the PMO. Prior to this role, Cory was a Project Manager, successfully managing high-profile web development projects for clients such as Lear Corporation, Burns & Wilcox, and Chrysler’s Fiat Division. With a background that includes a Project Manager position at CTS Companies from 1998 to 2015 and an early career as a management intern at Walgreens, Cory holds a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Communications from Western Michigan University.
