Samuel Langley has extensive work experience in the field of information technology. Samuel started their career in 1989 at Moore Business Forms as a Tape Ape, where they entered data, made backups, and wrote some code. Samuel then worked as a Programmer Analyst at Software Spectrum from 1990 to 1993, where they collated dot-matrix printouts, pushed carts, and answered phone calls. Samuel joined Snelling & Snelling in 1993 as a Sr. Software Engineer, tasked with looking at old code and writing new code. From 1994 to 1996, they worked at TGI Friday's as a Sr. Systems Engineer. In 1996, they became a Consultant at Intersys Corporation, where they worked until 1999. Samuel also worked briefly as a Consultant at Nobel Insurance Group in 1998. Samuel then returned to TGI Fridays in 1999 and held various roles, including IT Architecture Consultant, Director of Architecture, Senior Director of Enterprise Technology Operations, and currently serves as the Vice President of Information Technology.
Samuel Langley attended the University of North Texas from 1986 to 1989, focusing on Jazz Studies within the Music field. Prior to that, from 1972 to 1975, they completed 5th grade at Club Hill Elementary, emphasizing Playtime and Music.
