Arne Vatn

Arne Vatn has extensive experience in project management and mechanical engineering, primarily with PGS since December 1993, where roles include project manager for new builds and mechanical management. Key responsibilities involve overseeing the construction of T-class and S-class seismic vessels, as well as project portfolio management in multiple countries, including Norway, Spain, and Poland. Prior mechanical roles range from supervising mechanical operations in the Asia Pacific to hands-on mechanics onboard seismic vessels. Earlier career experiences include working as a mechanic for Felleskjøpet Agri and T.N. Vang’s mek. Verk, as well as military service in the Norwegian Armed Forces. Education qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Trondheim Ingeniørhøgskole and a Technician degree from Trondheim Tekniske Fagskole.
