Boonwara Sumano

Boonwara Sumano has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and organizations. In 2008, they started as a researcher at the Thailand Development Research Institute, where they worked until 2009. Following this, they pursued a PhD at Queen Mary University of London from 2009 to 2013. Returning to the Thailand Development Research Institute in 2014, Boonwara worked as a research fellow until 2020. In August 2020, they were promoted to the position of Senior Research Fellow and Head of the Social Development Policy Team at the same institute.

Boonwara Sumano has a strong educational background in politics and international relations. They began their education in 2002 at Thammasat University, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in International Relations and Affairs in 2005. In 2007, they pursued further studies at The Australian National University, where they obtained a Master's degree in International Relations and Affairs. Boonwara Sumano then went on to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree at Queen Mary University of London, specializing in Politics and International Relations from 2009 to 2013.
