Acca Fahad Tariq Rafi - Aca

Fahad Tariq Rafi has a diverse and extensive work experience in finance and auditing. Fahad Tariq started their career at PwC as an Audit Senior, where they contributed to and supervised various external and internal audit assignments. Fahad Tariq then joined KPMG as a Senior Associate, where they supervised external audits for clients across various industries and trained new audit personnel.

After that, Fahad moved to Engro Foods Limited as a Manager - Accounts and Taxation, where they ensured appropriate utilization of credit periods for vendor payments and implemented tax planning initiatives to minimize tax expenses. Fahad Tariq also supervised sales-related accounting and reporting and re-engineered receivables collection procedures.

Fahad Tariq then joined Engro Corp as the Head of Internal Audit - Terminals (Chemicals Storage & LNG), providing objective assurance on business operations and working in an advisory capacity to improve operations. Fahad Tariq also ensured compliance with Engro's Code of Business Conduct and approved policies. Fahad later became the Manager - Accounts, Taxation & Retirement Funds at Engro Corp, where they ensured accurate and timely financial reporting and developed the 5-year corporate plan.

Following their time at Engro Corp, Fahad joined Hascol Petroleum Limited as the Head of Internal Audit, providing objective assurance on business operations and leading the development and implementation of the company's Code of Business Conduct. Fahad Tariq also spearheaded a business process re-engineering project to streamline operational processes.

Fahad then worked at Al-Ghazi Tractors Ltd. as the Deputy General Manager - Finance, responsible for timely financial reporting, overseeing the tax function, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, and acting as a financial controller to adhere to approved budgets and identify cost rationalization measures.

Most recently, Fahad joined National Foods Limited as the Finance Manager - International Division, where they ensured timely and accurate financial closing for the division and oversaw the preparation of budgets and forecasts. Fahad Tariq also reviewed monthly results and made decisions based on performance against targets.

Currently, Fahad is working at Thal Engineering as the Chief Financial Officer.

Fahad Tariq Rafi has an education history in the field of Accounting and Finance. From 2005 to 2011, they attended the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan, where they obtained a CA degree. Additionally, from 2005 to 2009, Fahad Tariq Rafi studied at the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and obtained an ACCA degree.
