Jan Børge Sagmo

Jan B. is a highly experienced professional with a diverse background in both military and technical fields. Serving in the United States Air Force since April 2013, Jan holds roles as a Pilot, Commissioned Officer, and Airborne Systems Engineer, acting as the sole systems expert on a multi-billion dollar intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance aircraft while performing critical systems troubleshooting under tight deadlines for national security missions. Prior to military service, Jan worked as a Lighting Technician for Royal Caribbean from November 2009 to March 2011, overseeing lighting and special effects in five venues and effectively communicating with a diverse international crew. Jan B. holds an MBA/MS in Information Systems from the University of Utah (2020-2023) and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Technical Theatre/Theatre Design and Technology from Texas State University (2006-2008).
