Alessandro Carrabs

Alessandro Carrabs is a Fracture Mechanics and Structure Design Engineer at Thales Alenia Space since October 2020. Prior to this role, Alessandro completed an internship at the University of Bath from April to October 2019, focusing on Non-Destructive Testing for Residual Stress measurement and conducting Finite Element Method investigations on Cold Expanded holes, among other activities. Alessandro holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering for Design and Production and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, both from Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II, completed between 2013 and 2019.
