Alessandro Giordani

Alessandro Giordani is an Electrical, EMC & RFC Engineer at Thales Alenia Space since September 2020, specializing in the electrical architecture and environmental management for the Sentinel-1 C/D satellite and serving as the EMC architect for IRIDE NIMBUS SAR & VHR#1. Alessandro's expertise includes defining, analyzing, and verifying requirements for radio-frequency compatibility and electromagnetic compatibility on space applications, involving activities such as inter-antenna coupling, antenna pattern distortion, and plasma RF interactions. Prior to this role, Alessandro completed a master’s thesis internship focused on electromagnetic compatibility analysis using graphene-based coatings within satellite cavities. Education includes a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Sapienza Università di Roma. Alessandro is also an active member of the IEEE EMC Society and IEEE.
