Andrea Peña

Andrea Peña is an experienced optical engineer specializing in integration, verification, validation, and qualification (IVVQ) with a strong background in high-performance space imaging systems. Currently, Andrea serves as the Optical IVVQ Manager at Thales Alenia Space, managing AIT schedules, planning, and resource allocation since June 2021. Prior to this role, Andrea worked as an Optical AIT Engineer at SATLANTIS, focusing on optical tests in cleanroom conditions. Academic pursuits include a Master of Science in Experimental Physics from Leiden University and a Bachelor's in Physics from Universidad del País Vasco, complemented by research experiences at the University of Florida and Leiden University Medical Center.
