Armando Pacifico

Armando Pacifico is a seasoned Systems Engineer with extensive experience in satellite systems, currently working at Thales Alenia Space since July 2018 as a G2Sb1 Galileo 2nd Generation Satellite Systems Engineer. Prior to this role, Armando served as a System Engineer at OHB System, contributing to the Galileo Satellite Batch 3 project for the European Space Agency. Earlier career experience includes a PhD internship at T.R.S. S.p.A. focused on developing a novel algorithm for GNSS applications and a Graduate Student Research Assistant position at Università degli Studi di Napoli 'Parthenope,' where Armando was involved in EGNOS SIS performance monitoring. Armando holds a PhD in Geodesy and Navigation from the University of Naples ‘Parthenope,’ a participation in the ESA International Summer School on Global Navigation Satellite Systems at Bundeswehr University Munich, and an MSc in Radio Navigation from the same university.
