Domenico Rizzo

Domenico Rizzo is a skilled engineer with extensive experience in thermo-mechanical design and mechanical engineering, currently serving as a Thermo-Mechanical Design Engineer at Thales Alenia Space since November 2022, focusing on the IRIDE-NIMBUS program. Previously, Domenico held the role of Mechanical Engineer at Gelco SpA, where responsibilities included electromechanical design and thermal-structural FEM analysis for defense and aerospace applications. Academic experience includes tutoring at Università della Calabria and a research internship at the University of Rhode Island's Robotics Laboratory. Domenico holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Università della Calabria, along with a Master's and Bachelor's degree in the same field.
