Jean-Michel Bretagne is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the aerospace and telecommunications sectors, currently serving as the SES-24 Satellite Project Manager at Thales Alenia Space since June 2000. Jean-Michel has held significant roles including Telecom Satellite Technical Manager for projects such as SES-17 and TELKOM-3S, demonstrating expertise in electric propulsion, technical management, and project design authority. Jean-Michel's leadership extends to managing engineering teams for both civil and military telecommunications satellites, encompassing system engineering, integration, verification, and validation processes. Prior to Thales Alenia Space, Jean-Michel gained mechanical engineering experience at GECI France and Astrium, contributing to major projects such as Ariane 5 and Planck. Jean-Michel holds a Master Degree in Engineering from Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Mécanique et Aérotechnique.
