Kiran Stephen Pazhayattinkal

Kiran Stephen Pazhayattinkal is a Chemical Propulsion Engineer with current experience at Thales Alenia Space since March 2022, focusing on the refuelling architecture for the ESPRIT Bipropellant Transfer System (BTS), as well as fluidic design, testing, and analysis. Prior experience includes roles as a Propulsion Design Engineer at TeamIndus - Axiom Research Labs, where responsibilities encompassed propellant and gas feedline design, CFD analysis, and green propellant thruster development, and as a Teaching Assistant at the Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology, facilitating courses in fluid mechanics and aerospace propulsion. Kiran also completed an inplant training at Hindustan Machine Tools Limited, gaining exposure to tool making and operation of CNC and NC machines. Kiran holds a Master of Technology in Thermal and Propulsion from the Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology and a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from Mahatma Gandhi University.
