Philippe Pireau

Philippe Pireau is an experienced procurement professional with a strong background in purchasing and project management. Currently serving as the Country Procurement Manager at Thales Alenia Space since September 2017, Philippe oversees production and indirect purchasing in Belgium, as well as managing subcontracted activities for new product introductions. Previously, Philippe held various roles at Caterpillar Inc. from August 1994 to September 2017, including European Indirect Purchasing Manager and Purchasing/Procurement Manager, where responsibilities encompassed indirect procurement strategies and global category sourcing across multiple regions. Philippe is a 6 Sigma certified Master Black Belt, skilled in supplier deployment and project leadership, with expertise in logistics crisis management and optimizing procurement processes. Philippe holds a degree in Industrial Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Hydraulics/Constructions from ISIC.
