Ben Sharples

Ben Sharples is an Engineering Delivery Manager for EW Projects at Thales Defense & Security, Inc. since March 2024, having previously held positions such as CROWSNEST Acceptance Manager and Radar Modes Work Package Manager from November 2022 to December 2023. In these roles, Ben was instrumental in developing a comprehensive acceptance strategy for CROWSNEST, collaborating closely with Lockheed Martin, and creating system-level VVRMs to enhance resource management. Ben's extensive experience also includes work as a Requirements Manager at Lockheed Martin, overseeing requirements sell-off and system acceptance for the Warrior Upgrade Programme, and as a Senior Systems Engineer at BAE Systems Saudi Arabia, where responsibilities included designing requirements management for aircraft procurement. Educational qualifications include a Beng (Hons) in Mechatronics from The University of Manchester and prior studies at the University of Oxford.
