James D. Geraghty

Jim Geraghty is Vice President and General Manager of the Visionix business unit for Thales Defense & Security, Inc. (TDSI). In this role, Mr. Geraghty will lead all business and operations for Visionix, which specializes in world-leading head and helmet mounted cueing systems for military applications, and state-of-the-art motion tracking solutions sold under the brand name InterSense.

Mr. Geraghty joined TDSI in May 2007 as Director of Business Development for Visionix. Over the past 25 years, he held leadership positions at BAE Systems and Litton Industries, and he served 7 years as a United States Air Force (USAF) officer within the USAF Systems Command. While at BAE Systems, Mr. Geraghty served as the Senior Director of the Networked Communications product line and as the Senior Director of Business Development and Mission Applications for BAE’s Communications & Networked Systems business unit. He has considerable experience in the capture and successful execution of major development and production programs in next-gen avionics and communication systems across the US DoD and international landscapes.

Mr. Geraghty holds a Master’s of Business Administration degree from Boston University and a Bachelor of Science degree from the United States Air Force Academy.
