Sowmyan Rajagopalan

Sowmyan R. is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in the electronics and design automation industry. As the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Technology Officer of Thalia Design Automation since its founding in 2011, Sowmyan is instrumental in shaping business strategy and customer relations while driving the development of innovative EDA solutions. Sowmyan previously founded Kato Semiconductors, serving as Managing Director from 2011 to 2013, offering comprehensive analog and mixed-signal design services. Prior roles include EDA/IP Engineering at Micrel, where design methodologies for PMICs were developed, and Power Electronics Engineer at EPRI PEAC Corporation. An educational background includes a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Tennessee and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communication from the University of Madras.
