Catherine McLaughlin

Catherine McLaughlin is an experienced healthcare executive currently serving as Chief Executive Officer at Thames Hospice since October 2022. Prior roles include Clinical Lead for Children and Young People Services at Frimley CCG from August 2019 to November 2022, and Director of Community Services and CAMHS at Alder Hey Children's Hospital from May 2017 to March 2019. Catherine also held the position of Interim Clinical Lead at Royal Liverpool Hospitals and Warrington NHS Foundation Trust from September 2014 to April 2017, with a focus on transformational change in emergency and acute services. Additionally, Catherine served as Chief Operating Officer and Deputy CEO at University Hospitals Limerick, a group comprising 1,000 beds, from January 2011 to December 2013. Catherine holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Health Care from Brunel University London.
