Martin Medlycott

Martin Medlycott has extensive work experience spanning over two decades. Martin is currently a Fellow at BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT. Prior to this, they served as the Group CIO at Metropolitan Thames Valley Housing (MTVH) where they led the digital and data transformation initiatives and implemented data science and advanced analytics. Martin's expertise in improving employee experiences and work practices resulted in efficiency gains across the organization. Before MTVH, they held the position of Chief Information Officer (CIO) at Thames Valley Housing Association. Martin also served as the Global Head of Data Delivery, Data Security, and Operations at DC Thomson, where they managed global teams and ensured efficient data management. Additionally, they worked as the Global Data Transformation Programme Director at GroupM, leading multiple project streams focused on developing technical solutions. Prior to that, Martin worked at Thomson Reuters in various roles, including Global Head of Projects and Programmes and UK/EMEA Programme Manager. Martin began their career as a Senior Project Manager at Centrica IS and held a role in internal audit at Unigate.

Martin Medlycott attended St Pauls, but the start and end years of their education at this school are unknown. In 2011, they enrolled at Thomson Reuters where they completed an Advanced Management Programme in Business Management, which lasted for the year.
