Ash Holmes

Ash Holmes is a highly experienced engineer currently serving as a Critical Asset Engineer at Thames Water since September 2025. Prior to this role, Ash held positions at Thatcham Research from March 2020 to September 2025, first as a Senior Research Engineer and then as a Research Engineer, where responsibilities included managing projects with significant impacts across the automotive sector. Previous experience includes working as a Fixed Equipment Engineer at Phillips 66 and a Research and Development Engineer at Siemens Energy, alongside various technical and engineering roles earlier in the career. Ash holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Lincoln, as well as a Foundation Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Derby.
