Hugh Wright

Hugh Wright is an accomplished ICA Technician with extensive experience in the water treatment industry, currently employed at Thames Water since April 1999. Notable roles include ICA Engineer, where responsibility involved the operation and maintenance of control and automation equipment for a wastewater treatment facility serving 2 million people, and ICA Systems Engineer, which focused on improving monitoring and control at over 600 wastewater sites through optimized PLC and SCADA systems. Prior to Thames Water, Hugh contributed as a SCADA Systems Engineer at North Surrey Water, and held various engineering positions at Siemens Industrial Projects, WABAG Water Engineering, and Cegelec Projects, where expertise in commissioning, control systems, and plant monitoring was developed. Hugh holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronic Engineering with Computing from the University of Leicester.
