Jason Eccles has extensive experience in the water production sector, currently serving as the Head of Water Production and Programme Manager at Thames Water since October 2021, leading a £300 million investment programme to enhance the London water network. Prior to this role, Jason served as the Regional Production Manager from May 2012 to January 2016, where a team of 140 employees managed a budget of £28.5 million, focusing on improving the performance of water treatment works in West London in preparation for the London 2012 Olympic Games. Jason's career at Thames Water began as an Operational Duty Manager from 2010 to 2012, and also included the role of Technical Production Manager, overseeing a team of technical specialists to ensure product quality and regulatory compliance. Jason holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from The University of Sheffield, obtained between 1991 and 1994, and has a foundational education from Hipperholme Grammar School from 1984 to 1991.
