Jonathan Read is an accomplished leader with extensive experience in regulatory policy, strategy development, and management consulting within the energy and utilities sector. Currently serving as the Director of Regulatory Policy & Investigations at Thames Water, Jonathan previously held senior management roles at Sia Partners and Ofwat, where significant contributions included the reshaping of long-term strategies and leading cross-disciplinary teams. With a background at Royal Mail that encompasses strategy delivery, innovation, planning, and regulatory affairs, Jonathan has played a pivotal role in enterprise-level initiatives and regulatory submissions. Jonathan's earlier experience as a Policy Advisor for the European Commission laid the groundwork for a robust understanding of market dynamics and policy frameworks. Jonathan holds an MBA from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, and a MA in Modern History from the University of Oxford.
