Rob Harding is a seasoned Principal Tunnel Engineer at Thames Water, with responsibilities including the management of approximately 200km of clean water tunnel structures and the initiation of a wastewater tunnel inspection program since October 2021. Prior to this role, Rob served as a Senior Project Engineer overseeing a portfolio of new and remedial work projects during AMP7. Rob’s extensive experience at Arup spanned from September 2006 to September 2021, where Rob progressed from a Tunnel Engineer to an Associate (Principal Engineer) in the Major Civil Group, demonstrating expertise in design, engineering management, and staff development for civil structures, bridges, and tunnels. Rob began a career in public service as a Communications & Campaigns Officer for the University of Bristol Students' Union, advocating against tuition fee implementation. Educationally, Rob holds an MEng in Civil Engineering from the University of Bristol, earned between 2001 and 2006.
