Michael Howland

Michael Howland is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in production management and engineering. Currently serving as Factory Manager at Thanet Earth since February 2019, Michael oversees factory operations, ensuring efficient production processes and optimal line efficiencies. Prior to this role, Michael held various positions at Knauf, including SAP Implementation Manager, where responsibilities encompassed SAP production and warehouse management across UK sites, and Shift Operations Manager, focusing on continual improvement and cross-functional team engagement. Additional experience includes roles at Unilever, Campbell’s, Premier Foods, Marley Building Systems, and Ultra Scientific Instruments, with early career roots in electrical and mechanical engineering. Michael holds an HNC in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from South Kent College Canterbury and O' levels in Maths, English, Physics, History, and Technical Graphics from North School for Boys Ashford.
